Picnic Island is located in the Florida Keys.
Just south of Little Torch Key and north of Big Munson Island, it's a known hot spot on the weekends because of the long sand bar coming off the South side, a place where friends and family snorkel, hang out and have a good time. People bring lawn chairs, coolers and spend the entire day there.
Sometimes a big Pontoon boat will bring refreshments or a live band will play for all to enjoy.

Being a professional photographer and explorer made me realize the value of connecting people with the gifts that nature selflessly gives us. I started taking pictures in my teens with my Konica TC 35mm progressing on to a Canon Rebel 35mm, Nikon D3200, D700, D850.
